Fullstack Javascript Developer with Python

Do you like problem solving and thinking outside the box? We're looking for an experienced mid-level Front End Engineer who’s passionate about building mobile and web products. As a Front End Engineer, you will be trusted to architect efficient, scalable, beautiful design systems for our web applications

Responsibilities

• Build interactive UI components with JavaScript & ReactJs
• Build REST based APIs in python
• Implement database changes in MongoDb & Postgres
• Write testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Maintain a good site performance
• Maintain test coverage by running your own tests and working with QA team on automated testing
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• 'Own' and take lead in newly developed features for current or next generation platforms
• Coordinate with other engineers through pair programming
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• Find opportunities to improve current systems or patterns through auditing or benchmarking
• Participate in all Sprint ceremonies

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in developing JavaScript & Python applications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
• Good knowledge of ReactJs, Web Application fundamentals and the libraries/tool chains used to deliver them such as Webpack, Babel, testing with Mocha/Chai or Jest, git and other CI tools
• A strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
• An understanding of W3C web standards/semantics and accessibility guidelines
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Experience with HTML & Sass / Scss / Less / CSS
• In-depth knowledge of browsers, cross-browser compatibility issues, and how the DOM works 
• Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours.
• Great attention to detail and be highly organized
• A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly
