Job Title: SAP SD & WM Consultant / SAP Logistics Consultant

Job Responsibilities:
1. SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
Responsibilities:
○ Sales Process Configuration: Lead the configuration of SAP SD module for
order-to-cash (OTC) processes, including sales order processing, pricing,
delivery management, and billing.
○ Customer Master Data: Manage and configure customer master data, sales
areas, distribution channels, and partner determination.
○ Shipping & Logistics: Oversee shipping and delivery processes, including
shipping point determination, transport planning, and delivery scheduling.
○ Billing & Invoicing: Implement billing document configuration, manage
invoicing, and handle credit/debit memo processing.
○ Integration: Coordinate the integration of SD with other SAP modules such as
MM, FICO, WM, and PP to ensure smooth data flow and process alignment.
○ End-User Support & Training: Provide support to end-users for SD-related
queries, resolve issues, and deliver user training on SD processes and best
practices.
○ System Optimization: Analyze and optimize SD processes to enhance
efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall sales and distribution cycles.
2. SAP WM (Warehouse Management)
Responsibilities:
○ Warehouse Management Configuration: Lead the implementation and
configuration of SAP WM to optimize warehouse operations, including goods
receipt (GR), goods issue (GI), stock transfer, and physical inventory.
○ Inventory & Bin Management: Manage warehouse bin structure, storage types,
and material movements to ensure accurate stock tracking and optimized
warehouse operations.
○ Picking & Packing: Configure picking strategies (single/multiple pick), packing
processes, and material flow systems to optimize the order fulfillment process.
○ RFID/Barcode Integration: Collaborate with the technical team to implement
RFID and barcode scanning for efficient warehouse management and stock
visibility.
○ Warehouse Optimization: Review warehouse layout, optimize storage
strategies, and ensure efficient processes for stock management, order picking,
and shipping.
○ User Support & Training: Provide ongoing support to warehouse teams, resolve
issues, and conduct training sessions on the use of SAP WM functionalities.
3. Cross-Module Integration:
○ Work closely with SAP MM, FICO, PP, and other relevant modules to ensure
seamless integration of SD and WM, aligning order processing, stock
management, and billing.
○ Design and implement solutions that integrate SD and WM processes, ensuring
smooth operations from sales order creation to shipping and invoicing.
4. System Analysis and Configuration:
○ Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders, understand
business needs, and design SAP solutions for SD and WM processes.
○ Configure SAP SD and WM modules based on business requirements, ensuring
that all configurations are documented clearly for future reference.
○ Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to optimize
both SD and WM processes.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
○ Prepare functional and technical documentation for SD and WM configurations,
business processes, and user guides.
○ Develop reports to track key metrics such as order fulfillment rates, inventory
levels, stock movements, and delivery timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Experience: 6-7 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP SD
and SAP WM modules in both configuration and business process optimization roles.
● Technical Skills:
○ Strong configuration experience in SAP SD (order management, billing, pricing,
shipping).
○ In-depth knowledge of SAP WM, including configuration of storage locations,
picking strategies, and stock management.
○ Experience with integration between SAP SD and WM, ensuring seamless
communication between sales and warehouse functions.
○ Familiarity with RF technologies, barcode scanning, and RFID for warehouse
operations.
● Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues in SAP SD and WM processes, provide
solutions, and optimize workflows.
● Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact
with stakeholders and end-users, as well as to document processes and system
configurations.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain
Management, or related fields.
● Certifications: SAP certification in SD, WM, or both is a plus but not mandatory.
